The thrill of the open road, the sense of accomplishment after a tough ride, and the community of fellow athletes all fuel his passion for endurance sports.
Tony Martin
German former professional road cyclist, renowned as one of the greatest time-trial specialists of his generation. Over a career spanning more than a decade, he claimed four UCI World Time Trial titles and earned Olympic silver in London.
Martin also helped his teams—Omega Pharma–Quick-Step/Etixx–Quick-Step and later Germany’s mixed relay squad—secure four world championship team time trial victories.
On the Grand Tour stage, he notched seven wins, including five individual time trials at the Tour de France and Vuelta a España. A versatile rider in his prime—winning the Eneco Tour, Paris–Nice, and back-to-back editions of the Tour of Beijing—he later became a trusted road captain and super-domestique with Team Jumbo–Visma, guiding his teammates to victory with unmatched experience and tactical insight.
